Does anyone know of a good rear rack box that is metal (Need something secure and that can bolt to the rear). I looked at the boxes cabelas have but they seem overpriced for what you get. I would like something around 12 wide, 32ish long and maybe 12 high and sealed so that water does not enter. Thanks for the info all

 

Don't know of any other than the one you said.
The kawi box is very waterproof. Tough too. Might be bigger than you specified, but it is highly recommended.

Excellent latches. Could replace them with metal latches and make it secure.
Excellent waterproof.
Extremely tough (I hit a tree really hard with it and rolled on it).

Very bad for a second rider.

Mine is quick release. I remove it in 30 seconds (using pins, not straps).
Some people like the kimpex box. I have photos of it in my 650 photos.

 

I've ordered a kawi box a while ago. Apparantly its backordered at kawasaki.
