Default Dalton primary spring

Has anyone tried this spring yet? I wonder how it is compared to stock. I heard the engagement is between the red EPI spring and the stock one. I think a little low end snap would be helpful.

I have this spring installed in my 650, with the epi black. I don't know what the epi red is like, but i can say that there is a nice improvement using the dalton spring over the stock primary.

I had the EPI red, now have the Dalton plain/white stripe spring. It's between the stock spring and the EPI red in engagement RPM. The red spring has been retired; I like the Dalton better.

where can I get one of these springs. I bought the red primary from penland but never put it in because all the guys on this board that have them say it is "jerky". I don't need to tip that thing over on top of me when climbing so I gave the spring away. I would be very interested in the Dalton spring though.
