Default Prairie 650 Preload

Okay, I go camping a lot and load up my P650 to the max, but I also do a lot trail riding and I hate having to take off my rear shock to adjust the preload. Here’s my question, can I flip around the shock so the top of the shock is next to the swing arm?
Thanks for any help,
Badprairie

Long large sturdy size flat blade screwdriver with matching hammer.
This will permit you to access from the driver side to turn the spanner nuts.

You can adjust your rear pre load rather easily if you do the following. Spray some lubricant on the top threads and also on the bottom of the spring where it rubs the collar. You can then just grab your spring and turn it. Just make sure the lock nut is not tight. You can also make this easier by lifting the atv and taking some weight off the rear spring while you turn it.

You could switch the shock if it is 50/50 compression/rebound, but I doubt it is.

Rear shock is easily adjustable without taking it off. Just get in there with a big screwdriver and a hammer and tap the locking ring. When its loose just grab the shock spring with 2 handes and turn it till its where u want it. Then tighten the ring the opostite way u loosened it. You can do it in like 5 minutes. Hope it helps
