Oh, and when I called pro circuit and yoshimura about exhaust on the 700, i asked them the gains, and they said they havent dynoed it and wont because of the auto, it doesnt give accurate gains to advertise. Oh, and there are very few pro circuit pipes out for the 700, only team kawi racers have them right now, the for sell products are a few weeks out. According to a PC sales rep.

Interesting nobody mentions racing a DS, I do realize it is in a league of it's own & not exactly fair to compare it to the likes of Raptors & such but sure would be a hoot to see just far behind the V Force was in a drag.

Not even one DS650s ran against a 700 sunday. But the dual pipped 700 beat the craptor that beat a ds650. There were alot of ds650s there, some were beating a few craptors. But most of the craptors were beating everything including predators, ds, and 700s. But the craptors did not win the class. A 400ex did, with a cr450 engine in it.

ProXPredator,
The reason being is that generally when you Dyno a Quad, you leave it in one gear and run it up to it's peak HP RPM. With the CVT, there is no way to keep the trany from constantly up-shifting, thus making it hard to get a proper reading.
Like I said, I don't know if this is true or not, but I have read this in more than one Thread on this Forum. I'm sure that we will hear several different opinions on this, but it does tend to make sense to me.
