Hi there, I'm new here and thought I would say hello. My name is Chad and I live in Thunder Bay Ontario Canada. I just bought a new KVF 650 and absolutly love it. It rips. For a utility quad it has *****. I had an 02 Sportsman last year and it was gutless. So far I'm very happy with my purchass. i was wondering if there have been any major problems with this machine? Only real problem is belt life. Install black secondary spring and follow instructions on nyroc's site to extend belt life and you should be ok. Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new toy.

Congrats on the new purchase, just like scotia 650 said get the black spring put in asap... it will save your belt in the long run. O one more thing get some real tires before you have a flat out in the middle of no where. (stock tires are garbage!!!!!)

Thans everyone. I've been considering the black spring already. I'll be doing it in a few weeks. And I've already got better tires. I got them changed before i picked the bike up. I put on 26" Kenda Bearclaws. They seem to be pretty good for what I need. Has anyone done an aftermarket exhaust on one of these bad boys? I've seen Nyrocs mod but I don't want to cut the stock one up yet. Any thoughts?

I run the procircuit t4 on my bike. It's a little loud but I like the sound, sort of a 4-wheeled harley.

 

Hi Dale, yes I know Joe very well. I'm one of the guys that helped him develop the kit. He was riding my sled all last season because I broke my back and couldn't ride it. His sled was in a million peices so I let him ride mine.
