V force mods
#1
Ok I love the prairie 650 It truly it the king of all 4x4 atvs, But I was thinking about getting a v force for when i want to rip and rave and was wondering about mods.. I keep hearing talk about it haveing a good hole shot but is lacking on power on top end.. Ive heard time and time agian about people getting a hole shot on raptors and getting blew away whent he raptor hits 3rd gear, is this true? If so how can I fix it? are there any mods thsn are out or that will be out soon to turn the v force in to the undisputed hardest pulling fastest quad made?? Im also just wondering if when I get the CDI for my prairie if it can take a stock v force too?

I have a backround in snowmobiling which are all cvt driven for snowmobiles they sell clutch kits which
are good enough to improve a sled 2-3 legnths in a few hundred feet I fnow they make clutch kits
for th polaris scrambler just from seing them in magazines so you might want to check for your v force
also the ussual mods such as jet kit pipes filter should make a large diff. by the way is you v force a twin
I dont know just asking?

The V-force is capable of being much faster than it is in stock form. If you want real power out of your V-twin, then you need to think about a 800cc big bore kit with new cams and CDI unit. Mickey Dunlap's four stroke tech has a nice kit and cams, and I believe a CDI unit as well with a 2500 rpm over stock rev limit. Then you are going to need some clutch mods, you might want to give Dale at Dalton Industries a call ( daltonindustries.com) And maybe a nitrous kit as well.... I'm planning on doing the big bore kit this winter, right now I'm working on my banshee......Oh and as long as you have your bike apart get some port work done.....
