I read on another forum that the same guy about to release a cdi will soon be selling a better version of the modulator. It is supposed to make the 650 a wheelie and holeshot monster and maintain top speed too. I think they said about a week away?

Default acceleration mod?

Are these only for the Prairie 650, or do they make these for other brand quads? Sounds like a very good product that is easy to install and use.

Howdy,
the name of the company that is making the cdi for the 650 is Diamond G. It is owned by a fine gentleman named Don Grimes. Any product that I have used that he produces is of the highest quality available!!! His first cdi will be for the 650 followed by one for the 700. He is also making a snorkel for the 700 that will really improve the power of that quad. Some are drilling holes in their air box lids and that is not a good thing! On a dyno run it was noticed that drilled holes in the cover produced fluctuation in the slides. It is caused by turbulence in the incoming air. Have a goodun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the latest prediction when the CDI from Diamond G will be available? Do we have any stats such as HP increases?

This kawasaki dealer in quebec, is the company that is supplying freedom cycle with their modulator.
http://www.aperusse.com if you can't read french go here and type in the url: http://world.altavista.com/

I spoke with a guy named Danny at aperusse, who stated that they are working on another modulator, which will be ready in 3 weeks, selling for $195 retail. This modulator he said attaches to the existing cdi and will also improve the top end gaining an additional 10-15 kms, as well as the improvement on the low end, similar to their existing low-end modulator. If you want more info about it they have a toll free number 1 (866) 376-7436 email: machinerie@aperusse.com

The appeal of the CDI is that it works throughout the rpm range and now someone is coming out with a modulator that works throughout the rpm range and it's half the cost of the CDI. I repeat my earlier statement.
