Default 650P Air filter help..

Just got my new stock element to replace the water logged and silt filled old one (see "Swamped my 650, Badly") I can't figure out how to seperate the pieces parts without damaging the plastic pins... any hints??

Thanks

They just pop apart.

Hold frame with fingertips and push the pins through with thumb.

Dumb thats not dumb you ought to see my truck thats dumb. I put the 650 through the back window and dented in the back of the cab and the bed. (Note to self were helmet while loading quad.) I have some photos if you want a laugh.

Don't feel bad I broke my back window out loading mine up at the dealer when I first bought it.DOH!!!!!!Got my baby modded enough for now (until cdi comes out) so I guess it's time to spend the extra money to get the window fixed.

You will have enough money to replace your truck by the time the cdi is out! LOL

I've got another way. Use a very small socket (I think 5/16), It will smash it small and it will fall apart.

CVKP must get the award if we do I think he beats me out ever so slightly. All though I did it with one arm due to dislocated shoulder from earlier that day. ( never endow your quad it hurts for a long time).

I had to put angle iron across the front of my box ( silverado ) the front started to bow. The 650 is just a tad big for the short box
