How Much is To Much....I think I have the answer

This last weekend I went on a mudd run with modified 4x4's stock 4x4 trucks anything that might be able to make it across 50ft of 2 foot deep mud. I will primarily stick with the quads. There were 10 of use there different brands all different types of tire combinations. I spent all winter building my Super Charged Nitrofied P650 for this purpose....... TO ROOST ALL COMPETITION. Originally I wanted to have 100 horsepower which I did (mostly 125hp) also to maintain 100 mph mostly for wheel speed ( unfortunately our cdi wont allow for this). The greater the wheel speed to fling the Mudd Machine across 50 feet of mud. The organizers wanted to make the pit 2 feet deep to discourage the ATV's from entering leaving the big machines to play. We did have our chance mostly it was fun that is the main thing.
I was the last to make a run. The first 9 competitors did not fare so well they went only 20 ft which is commendable considering. My run lasted 12 seconds the first time because the time keeper was lolly gaggleing at the bikini babes and not watching a very important mudd skipping run across the watery playing field. I had to drive in front of him to get his attention whereupon he flicked the time piece showing a dismal 12 seconds. The next 2 runs came in with respectable times. Number 2 run ran at 8.12 seconds where the 3rd was a resounding 7 seconds dead on. Truly a thrill to ride this machine. I had a good launch hit the mud pulled full throttle with the blower till half way across where I hit the Nos as the quad was starting to submarine. Soon as I hit the Nos I had so much wheel spin the Mudd Machine ( formerly the Green Machine) literally started to rise above the mud and with those 27 inch Outlaws launched across the top of the mudd to the end where an astonished time keeper stood.
How much is to much? I read somewhere someone was asking what kind of torque can the Kawi take. Well in my quest to find out this very question I have replaced almost all of my drive line components from front to back. Not to mention the biggest hurt of all. I spun a bearing in the motor after the last run, it started to knock fairly bad and really bad when I loaded it onto the truck. I have the motor in pieces across one bay of the toy shop right now trying to ascertain the total damages.
Roscoe69 not to worry I will be there for your fun run this weekend, I picked up another motor today from the junkers should have it in by tomorrow HOPE IT WORKS.

I wanna goto Alberta just to see this monster!!
Edit: I might have the opportunity in July, my friend lives out there and might be moving back so I might get a chance to go out there. He lives about 3-4 hours north of Edmonton, I don't know the town name.

damn that's impressive. So how do you get more power so you got it nailed in 5 seconds? LOL what clutch system are you running that one run would equal a lot of miles on a normal life of a belt one would think.

BBertram,
Sounds like your bud lives around FT. Mac glad to have you.
XC 800,
I was up to Slave Lake they put on a great event with a better one in September. They also have the the best crash up derby around. There is vehicles from all over Canada and the US come to compete. Come on out I can give you some tips I get Kawi carbs from all over the world for rebuilding. I usually have something on the go in my little toy shop, I usually have the lights on well past midnight.
Steelhead650,
For quading and camping around Calgary at Stampede try Waiporous just west and north of Cochrane on the forestry trunk road.
Kawi650,
You know I am still on my original belt, mind you this weekend pretty much took care of it. It has lived through one Turbo Charger and now the Super Charger I think I can retire it with reverance now.
Roscoe69,
I will have this other motor in tonight I don't have enough time to mount the blower but will have something to see just the same. See you friday night!!
