06' Predator 90 Cuts Off after 10 minutes
I have an 06' Predator 90 that cranks up just fine. My son can ride it for about 5-10 minutes and it just shuts off. It cranks right back up, runs for about 30 seconds or so then cuts back off. I have a new batter in it but when I check the batter is very low after that short amount of time riding it.
We bought it used so I'm hoping I didn't get swindled. I'm no mechanic but also no idiot. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

We you get it running check that it's charging at least 13 volts back to the battery, if not could be a bad regulator not keeping the battery charged.Plus check compression. Minimum should be 115 psi.Wouldn't hurt to check that fuel lines aren't kinked, tank vent his open and carb his getting fuel.Posibly could be vapor looking, running out of fuel.

Same problem here!
I've got the same problem where it runs fine, stops, but will immediately fire right back up. Runs a bit again and stops...over and over.
I've bought a new carb, replaced gaskets, removed all fuel filters to ensure free flow of gas, cleaned pet ****, removed exhaust pipe...nothing solved the problem.
Any help here for a newbie?

Make sure the tank vent line isn't kinked that could be causing it to starve for air.Plus you can see how it runs with the cap off.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse If this doesn't help but you're getting fuel to the carb, check compression.May not be fuel or air related. Has to have at least 115 psi to run properly.
