Dave,
When you finally get all of this stuff, if ever, I hope it works out for you and your son. Until you put in a crankshaft and a large 54mm cylinder you will never be a 110cc motor. You should also leave the porting to the professionals.
Some times you don't get what you pay for.

Wh,

I didn't know any better at the time. I had no idea Trinity works on stuff that small. Hell there is very little info on the T-Rex to begin with.

Anyway I got my trans kit. When I got the kit I wondered "how the hell is this going to improve anything". Well on the very bottom it doesn't do anything it's almost where it was. However the powerband comes in MUCH, MUCH, MUCH sooner and the power is finally usable now. I think I will have to upgrade the clutch cause I hear the motor drag down at first then wind up and it does it very quickly. Keep in mind my 180+ buttocks is on this thing, perhaps it's different with my son on it. I'm much happier now with it. If clutch will defintely help the very bottom then I'll get it one for it down the road as it is... it's defintely rideable.

As far as Kerry Simmons, I've read all the bad posts about him however he has always helped me out when I called. He does seem like he is a rush at time but always walked me thru everything. I can't say I'm an angry customer.

etonbomber glad to hear it, I honestly wasn't trying to bring you down. I just hate to see people get ripped. Especially another guy doing this for his kids. BTW, on some trans mods, the setup intentionally makes the motor rev some before the trans engages. This is to allow more power on take off. You may just have to get used to reving it before it engages. I know when my kid's mods were done it felt funny at first having to rev it before it engaged. Anyway best of luck dude

BSB I noticed your from NJ. Maybe we can get together along with our kids and have a ride. I'm considering a clutch kit. I'm going to go over to the other forum and see if a clutch kit helps me some. I replaced some bolts today along with a liquid gasket. I hope it holds up.

Yeah I can't believe the power these things make. I'm starting to think twice that 4 stroke are surpreme. I own a Raptor and DS650 and they do not repsond like that.
