Proof that 6x6s are the Future!

The T-REX is a prototype but not a trashed project. I think it would be great for heavy utility use. Everything has it's use!
I heard that many of you were expecting me to show up at the New York ride over the weekend. Is this true?

Bill - There was a ride in NY last weekend or the weekend before that. Someone that was there said there was lots of people expecting me to come. I just wanted to know if that was true and if so, why they were expecting me. As far as I know there is no ride this weekend.

Max6x6, more than likely the reason many people expected (or wanted) you to show is that whether you realize it or not you are achieving a kind of celebrity status on these forums. You are truly one of a kind.

Hey Max!
I though about you yesterday. I was plowing through muddy water, my King Quad nearly submerged for the 20th time, when the picture on your web page came to mind, only those four-wheelers had the sense to stay on land. As my exhaust bubbled under the water, one thought came to mind: "MAX6X6." There is still a water line over half-way up my Suzuki's seat, which isn't coming off!
Please don't say, "Death to the King Quad!" again. At least not mine. It has been baptized - reborn.
Good riding!

kclayd - You seem to have misunderstood my statement. I am not talking directly about your Suzuki as "Kind Quad". I am basicly saying death to all quads and Max will rule again. Since I always stick to my guns, I must say:
Death to the King Quad!
Death to the King Quad!

Hey Max,
Instead of responding to the many attacks on the MAX6X6, I want to hear about your outings. That is maybe the best part of ATVing - sharing your experiences. What did you do last time you 6 wheeled? What makes it fun?
Clay
May my recently baptized King Quad live forever!

Great idea kclayd, in fact I was just about to post info about my 6-wheeling outing yesterday.
My uncle and I took a 4 hour expedition up the creek yesterday. The terrain and scenery was awesome. There was water both deep and shallow, mud, sand, rocks, and logs. Big cliffs made for some great sights. We parked the Max in the creek to take a break and climbed on top of one of the cliffs. I took an aerial picture of my Max from the top. We crossed under a small highway and Interstate 70. Farther down the creek we found a really old bridge that had been destroyed. We went up a hill out of the creek and found an abandoned road that was probably the highway about 40 years ago. I took several pics of the ride that will soon be posted on my site. Someday soon before winter we may go farther and camp over night.
kclayd where do you live? Let's ride!

Thanks MAX6X6,
I live in North Carolina. I would love to ride with you sometime, but I would probably have to get a snorkel tube and a scuba outfit to keep up with you in my newly baptized King Quad.
I enjoyed the message about your outing. I will check your web site to see the photos. Look forwards to hearing more.
If you're interested, I have posted descriptions of some of the North Carolina trails under the Where to Ride topic. There are a lot of great riders here, and you would be more than welcome if you ever wanted to visit.
Good riding!
