Hi there' I just bought a 2004 viper 50 for my 4 year old son, It's going to be a Christmas gift. I paid $1600.00 out the door and got a helmet and the running lights installed, wondering if it was a good deal or not. I would like to hear from other people that have bought them to get the insight of the machine and how does it compare to others? I heard that the raptor 50 has no power and would get stuck very easy if stopped on a small incline. Is the E Ton the same way????

These little CVT 50's are much better then the Raptor 50... good IFS compared to that funky swingarm front on the Raptor.. Lots of Mods for available for it.
Your Eton can easilly be made to do 2 times the speed it coulf out of the factory.
Stock, it won't break land speed records, but will have pleanty of power to get going.

Pretty good price ..... GREAT ATV!!!!
I bought an 04 Viper 50 for my 5yr old and 04 Viper 90 for my 10yr old about 6 months ago and we love them. As far as power goes they both have more than enough
power to pull around my fat butt (200lbs) As far as the 50 we havent found a hill that it wont pull with my 5yr old on it. Both of my kids started on dirt bikes last year
and we switched to ATVs so my wife wouldn't worry so much. The power difference between the Viper 50 and the KDX 50 is amazing. The little dirt bike only weighed about
half as much as the atv, but anything more than slight upgrade would bog it down and he would have to push with his legs to keep moving. With the rev limiter removed
the viper 50 will go 26 mph and the 90 will go 32-33 mph. Good luck with your Viper - I'm sure your little one will love it.

Thank's RoadDoc... there are more videos (0-70cc, mini-production, blaster) at the GMQA.com site... I'm running that one on the same server for the GMQA racing.
Alyssa will be getting back into racing this Sunday (If I get her quad put back together ).. she had an accident where a KX125 hit/landed on her, and he fractured her wrist and elbow, about 6 weeks ago. She's pretty excited about getting back into it.
