Default Kasea Skyhawk 90 ??

Does anyone have any info on the little 90 from Kasea? I'm planning on picking up an Yellow Suzuki LT80 Saturday. I was looking around for a deal on a LT today and found an add for a guy in Rockwall that sells the Kasea mini's and he had some pretty intresting things to say, seems to know his mini's. From the specs they sound pretty good, but just wondering what experience anyone had with them. I'm still 90% sure I'm getting the LT80 but just checking around a little more.

Also, thanks to Mattfisher, went to RockyMountain.com and they have several different Pee-Wee chest protectors for about $60 bucks. We are planning on ordering that with the James Lucky 6" wider a-arm replacement, a set of rear wheel spacers, & getting the helmet and goggles at the dealer.

Thanks again for all the input from everyone!!!!

Depends what you want to do with it. Racing, get the Kasea. Want better suspension, get the Kasea. Want to modify it (make it go faster) get the Kasea. You get more bike for less money with the Kasea, but the LT80 has been around forever, and resale will be better down the road on the LT80. IMHO

i own one of each i have had the lt80 almost 2 years and it has been raced the entire time. the case has cracked behind the base of the cylinder and in the rear where it connects to the rear axle assembly. the front down tubes of the frame have also cracked. it has been modified by trinity racing full porting, clutch mods, pipe, 20 mm carb, works shocks and it has been widened and has 16" tires on douglas wheels as well as a few other mods. if you want it for casual riding or flat track racing it is a good all around unit that will last many years, but if it gonna be rode on rough ground or jumped the suspension is horrible. the only problems i have heard of on stock units is the starter going out, but after 2 years my still works fine.
i have had the kasea for 2 months and it has been redone from the ground up by hetrick racing so i dont know how it performs in stock form. in modified form it is awesome. the only problem i have encountered was a bad gear in the transmission, but the parts were overnighted to me and it was rolling again without any trouble since. it is simple to maintain and the parts are easy to get to unlike the lt 80 where some of the parts are difficult to reach.
if i were going to buy one for the sole purpose of racing the kasea is definitely the way to go. if the only thing you will ever do is ride trails the lt 80 will probably suit you best, but i would look into widening out it makle it more stable

I am considering a Kasea KS 90 for my son. This is the international version of the skyhawk 90 I've heard, and can get a great price on one. My concern is getting parts in the future. I called 3 dealers ( there are only 5 in our state - ohio) and though they all agreed this was a top quality atv, they said support from the home company was lousy and they had trouble getting parts and were considering dropping their dealer status. Have you looked into this? Any advice would be helpful. We may purchase an Eton viper 90 instead becuase of this issue.

In all honesty..... I didnt think I would ever say this ,but ..All in All, The Eton is more solid, a little better build, its been VERY reliable good power for the 50 !!! Its NEVER one gave us any trouble and we have had it for a little over a year now,its had alot of hours put on it too... NOW........ It also hasnt had any mods done aside of tires (oh, and race stickers we all know that adds another 10 horse.....lol) Both have been great machines, My Daughter loves here Kasea, it just tends to be a bit moodier than the Eton is with a pipe I guess............

Thanks for the info, we decided on the viper 90 for our son. Brought it home last night, and my son has been on it all day today-just one brief break for lunch! This forum was helpful cause there are so many choices out there-definitely good to get everyone's input.
