Hey I was just going through a August 2002 Dirt Wheels going over the artical reviewing the different mini quad makers. On the last page of the artical they said that it was rumored that Suzuki was working on a new mini to replace the LT80. I am going to buy a mini this spring and had pretty much settled on the Preditor 90. But if Suzuki is going to step up and build a newer mini I would have to seriously reconsider. Anyone heard anything about this?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

I heard they will be replacing it with a 4 stroke lt sometime between now and 2006[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Isn't it no 2-strokes after 2006??????? If they take 2 years to release it, you kid may have already outgrown it by then!

 

Excuse my ignorance...but why would they stop making 2 strokes?

 

Really 3 letters sum it up...... EPA. Tree huggers to be exact. They believe the pollution output is killing all plant life,ozne,etc. yadda yadda yadda. No one thinks about the black soot coming from all the diesel's exhaust and all the manufactoring plants around the world, but we ABSOLUTELY have to have them, right? The technology is there to make controlled pollution 2-strokes, but seems no one wants to take part of it so WE will just have to be without I guess. Wonder when they will build that 4-stroke chain saw that you can turn upside down and sideways without taking 20min to attach something else to it?

I was hoping tha thing was coming out this spring. I guess if it isn't then i will buy the Polaris for the syspension plus son thinks it is the coolest looking. Thanks if some hears or knows more let me know. Maybe they will finally do a small four stroke right so it can make some power. I hate Tree Huggers but I wish more of them actually chained themselfs to trees and lost the keys. We can dream can't we.
