Default Raptor 80 help

My little sister has a raptor 80. She never rides it, so it usually becomes the quad for someones girlfriend or little sister. I have back the throttle screw out but I wanted some info on the restrictor plate. Yamaha's website states that it has a removable one, but i do not know where to start. Where is it, and how do I remove it?

Default Raptor 80 help

I removed the one that is behind the air filter. The dealer I bought the quad said he removed the exhaust restrictor, but I don't know where that was.

Default Raptor 80 help

it has an exhaust restrictor where the exhaust pipe mounts to the head. just remove the bolts that hold the exhaust pipe to the head and you will see a small washer with a small hole it in. remove the washer and put the exhaust back together and your good to go. if you want a little more power try modding your air box. drill some holes in the top to let more air in but if you do this you will have to be very carefull around water not to let it get in the airbox. there are some small breathers you can buy to help prevent this but i'm not sure if you have enough room on the small raptors to install them.
