Default Racing in MD or VA

Does anyone know of any tracks that have ATV racing in MD or VA? My son has asked about racing and I would love to take him to a track so we can watch a race, look more into getting involved with the sport. My son is 7 and will be turning 8 in May.

Look up www.southernatva.com they have races in North Carolina and Virginia. The first race of the series is next Saturday at Elizabeth City, NC which is right on the Virginia line. Also try www.nqra.org they also have some races scheduled in the area.

I have not heard anything about the MX track in Mt. Airy. Do you know where it's going to be or any other details?

I just got my daughter a Predator and am interested in any motorcross/TT tracks in Maryland. There doesn't seem to be much and around here other than Budds Creek. Maybe we could share information on riding spots etc. Would like to get together with others with children who ride, my daughter is 8.

The Landing MX is very nice, but the traffic in the summer is horrible. Mt. Airy consist of 3 counties; Montgomery, Carroll, and Frederick. I live in Carroll and have heard nothing about this track. I will call the commissoners on Thursday and see if they know anything about it. As far as riding areas, I don't know of any public areas. I wish I did.
