Well i am happy to report that after i modifed my sons lt50 the bike really came to life!

Here is what i did.

remove the restrictor plate from the intake manifold.

removed the 1st pilot jet and left the other inplace.

moved the needle to the 4th notch from the 3rd notch.

there was no brass sleeve,unless i am misunderstanding what the slide is?

there was no restrictot plate in the exhaust

and there is no exhaust baffle in the tail pipe.


So do you think i need to rejet to a bigger main?

the current size is 55

also before i did this,my son weighs 41 pounds and it would not pull him across the slightest grade.

now it will pull me from a dead stop,which was impossible with out a stought push. i weigh 230.
