I built a lt-50 last year for my son to race. I moded the air box to get max air flow and put on an FMF exhust. With these mods I used a 75 main jet, and removed the little jet under the secondary jet. I just went to the local Suzuki dealer he had one in stock.Did you remove the the restrictor in the intake tube. Oh and another thing I lowered the clip on the needle 1 clip. Also remove the oil injector the quad will run alot better. I used a premix of 32:1 with maxima 927.I mixed Klotz 104 and 95 oct at a 50/50 mix.

yes i removed the all the restrictor but i have not modified the air box yet. I also remove the extra pilot, and i noticed the main was a 55.
Where did you get the fmf exhaust at?
When you talk about the mixes of oil and gas. what exactly is the mentioned klotz and maxima?
thanks, 2 strokes are not my specialty! LOL

I had the local Suzuki dealer order it. You can also order it over the internet from FMF or Dennis Kirk.com. The pipe really made a difference. But the jet and the air mod really helped alot. Klotze is a type of race fuel,it's 104 oct. Maxima 927 is a type of 2-stroke oil.Maxima oil is the best oil in my book, it's all I will run in Michaels bikes and quads. He has an 01 Polini x3 and he runs the heck out of it .Tacked out all the time and he has never blown a top head. If your just trail rideing you don't need the Klotz fuel. I just use it for racing, 95 oct if fine.

I just cut 2 more half inch holes into the back . Then I bought some rubber hose from the local part store and placed them in the holes. I also took some blue gasket sealer and put it around the hose where it entered the air box.
