Toe In adjustment...how to?
#2
i take two pieces of 3/4" square alum tube and lay them horizontally against the outer edges of the front tires along the center, then bungie them in place. take a measurement of the distance between the tubes at the front and the rear right along the tire. this is your "toe" measurement, which I set to be about 1/4" greater at the front vs rear. this is considered "toe-out".
the tie rod ends have rh and lh threads at either end of the tie rod. loosen both lock nuts several turns so you can see which way turning the tie rod is affecting your tierod length. if your steering is centered already then make even adjustments to both sides.
