Pred. 90 Rear Hubs - 03

Default Pred. 90 Rear Hubs - 03

Have my daughter's P-90 apart for FMF pipe install and tranny fluid change and noticed the rear hubs are loose. I can wiggle the nut, cotter pin is intact, axle sleeve also loose(held tight by hubs) You might want to check yours.....

Have tightened my sons twice now and they need it again!! Make sure you greese those splines when you tighten them back up

Thanks for the tip... So instead of just tightening the nut, I should take off the hub and grease the splines. What about using anti-sieze?

Wait till you forget to put the cotter pin back in and have the wheel come off, I use an impact wrench now, it goes nowhere.
LOCKTIGHT EVERY BOLT YOU CAN! I've had'em all come loose.

never used antiseaze on those, just synthetic grease like everywhere else
