there is a kid on a ttr 90 who thinks he can beat my jetted raptor 80.What do u guys think.

 

I think the Raptor 80, badger, quads are one of the most relieable quads a person can get. As far as speed goes, you might want to not pick to many fights.

My son has an 04 Pred 90, and a 2000 TTR 90. The TTR90 has an FMF with jet, The Pred 90 has the Hetricks exhaust, larger main jet, no rev cdi, clutch mods, K&N clamp on, oil injection removed, When both stock, the TTR was quicker and faster (considerably faster), now, the Pred is a quicker machine, but, still, when both opened up, the TTR still has the higher top speed. I will be regearing his Pred soon when I install his big bore kit and larger carb which, should give it a definite edge. Don't know what it is about bikes, but usually the two wheelers are always faster (same bore, stock for stock that is). This is not a Raptor 80, but, my sons Pred 90 has always been a little faster than his friends Raptor 80 (stock for stock), so, in other words, don't be betting any money on that race with the TTR.

so you guys dont think a piped and jetted raptor 80 3-speed could beat a stock ttr 90? All of my friends think it would waste the ttr

even with that, the raptor 80 is quite slow...

 

well, if you bore out the raptor 80, it will definitally go faster. then port and polish the head. that will fly afterwards with a jetted engine. also, put in a another speed(so now its 4 speed). you would have to run straight premium gas or you will blow the engine. this thing will fly when you're done with it. mine goes faster than a 300cc blaster.
