LT80 Does Great At The Dunes
#1
Big Thumbs up to Jack (LT80) on our daughter's quad. We went to Lil Sahara for the first time last week since race modding the little bike. This is the last year for her on this quad (almost 11 and quite a little ham at 120lbs). The quad pulled her around a lot better than I ever thought it would with the 6 paddle gliders. The only time she ever had problems is when she would try to ease up a hill instead of getting it going and she would start bogging it down. A friend has a 55lb 7 year old and when he got on it....... WHOAAA NELLEY. His words were "I have to get me one of these" It pulled him up the largest dunes there and was scary fast coming down. Thanks again to Jack. With a little clutch work and a little tuning the bike is running fantastic. I will surely hate to part with it this winter. We got it for her when she was 6 years old and it has been bullet-proof. Jack is the man!

Nice to hear somebody is having fun. I love these lil LT80's, so do my kids. My kid's LT is bone stock and it does pretty dang good. I hope to just do some minor mods. Not put a lot of money in to it. I've read just about every topic in here. Just need to figure out what I want to do. Not really going to race. But want to climb hills at the dunes, and zip around the trails.
Have fun

When Jack told me that the race mod could be driven around the yard and rode the same as stock I was a little cautious. But he was right,of course. You can ease it around and drive it without any problems. When you need more just push the throttle and go. The only one thing that might bother some people is that you need at least 100 octane fuel. We mix premium 50/50 with our race 110 that we run in our other bikes.
