Default Custom a-arms

Our LT80's front brakes are shot. The cables stick and the brake shoes are all but gone. I was wondering if anyone has tried to modify the a-arm to adapt spindles from a bigger quad in order to get disc brakes up front. I've been looking for a set of stock front a-arms to try this with, but have had no luck so far. My local shop has extra front spindles with all the brake parts from old Warriors and 300ex's and I thought that would make for some good front brakes. Anyone have any idea where I can find some a-arms cheap?

Check on Ebay periodically. Alot of parts for LT80's and 300ex on there and they usually go for a reasonable price.

Default Custom a-arms

I've been checking for the past week or so with no luck. (on the a-arms) A local cycle shop has the disc brakes and all that I would need and he said he'd be more than happy to help. I would like to find another set of a-arms in case I don't get it to work right. I was aslo hoping I could make them about 2" wider in the process. I've been checking out how the 300ex knuckles might work with the LT80 a-arm and it looks like it might be fairly easy to set up. One thing I've really not considered is if it will clear the stock wheels or if I would have to switch to 10" wheels. Who knows, if I can make this work I might have to get a patten on it.
