Default Eton 70 bogging down...loss of power

Hi, my little girl has had this Eton for about 3 months now and I do all of the regular maintenance to it after each ride, however yesterday it was bogging down quite a bit to where it takes a while (a few seconds) to take off unlike it was before.... clutch maybe? I just changed the plug 2 weeks ago, cleen air filter, fresh gas and oil etc.. I did however about a month ago started to run pre-mix due to where I did not know what it was mixing the gas at in stock form so I run 32 to 1 in my yz's...is this tooooo rich for this Eton? thanks for any ideas! Jeff.

If it has a removable spark arrestor, take it out and clean it.

I run 40:1.

Thanks for the replies! First thin g I did was remove the spark arrestor/ Cork out of there ( I never knew it had one ) Then fired it up and it's got the power back and then some however now when I was nailing it you could hear it rev up and start to hit the power band then it tapers off from there but it's still plenty fine. it seems like the clutch it hampering the power in a way... I did not tear into the clutch at all yet so it's a stock unit and I know that pipe on there is not allowing the engine to make some good power at all.... The adjustable cdi unit is at 7 and I have messed around with it a little going from 1-7 with no change that I could tell. Well she is going to be real happy come this Saturday! Thanks again! Jeff.

I know mine wouldn't rev past a certain point in stock form due to a restrictive pipe and intake. Amazing what a few mods will do!

My 2 month old Viper 90 had the same problem. The spark arrestor is now out for good.
