Viper 90 Question
#1
Hello all need some advise.
1. I will be replacing the front brake cable on this bike the shoes look new and adjusted the cable all the way out. when I install the new cables are the adjuster's screwed all the way in or out?
2. I havn't had any problems with this bike till now. It cranks and runs just fine the problem is that when it idles it will die out I havn't changed the plug yet it is 9 months old. I the plug the problem? or something else.
Thanks

Your cables most likely were not stretched out. The part down on the spindles that the cable attatches to is not tight enough and moves when the brakes are pulled in tightly. I had to loosen ours up and adjust the levers in less than six months, tightening the clamp bolt very tight. Anyway you should turn your adjusters in before you start and then adjust them when you are through. I would change the plug out as well as cleaning the carb and adjusting the idle.
