2 questions about tires
1- why do you change your stock rear tire (18x8.5x8) for new one 18 x 6.5 x 8 ?
2- Why do you change your stock front tire (19x7x8) for new one 19 x 6 x 10 ?

I changed to 19 X 6 X 10 Holeshot fronts because they are lighter than stock, less wieght = faster quad. Also the 10" rim takes away alot of tire flex on corners. I run 16 X 6.5 X 8 snow hogs on the rear to keep a lower center of gravity, if deep ruts we change to the 18's. With aluminum rims on all of them, they will also be alot lighter which means a faster quad. Hope this helps some.

Snowhog is from Carlisle Tire and Wheel, which is the parent company of ITP.

Look in the "Big Biters" last page.

Also, a 16 inch shredder isa great rear tire, has great hook up and cheaper too!! We have both rears on our minis and they seems to be less HP robbing than a 18 inch rear Tina

Thanx Tina. We were going to try and make it to the worcs race but I just have to many quads to work on right now. Our season starts Oct 24 and I am getting 7 mini quads ready. Was glad to your daughter do well and also was proud that Ms. Shelman made us proud of our racers.
