Predator 50 (70) - overheating?

Need some help:
I have a 2004 Predator 50 with a 70 big bore kit, aftermarket pipe, performance clutch, and open airbox. Using a 100 main jet. Here's the dirt:
Before the big bore kit, I had it piped and opened the airbox and no jet change, based on the pipe vendor's advice that the stock jetting was too rich, so no need to re-jet with the pipe. You know what's next: siezed at Pismo beach. It began with stalling about 15 minutes into a ride and not being able to restart. Once cooled, it would start again. As the stalling continued, the kick start became more difficult to kick over - siezing began.
Anyway, I had a 70cc big bore installed and upped the main jet to a 100 - should be plenty rich per big bore vendor. Just took it out this past weekend to Glamis for some mild break-in riding - no open throttle, initially only 10 minutes at a time, varying the throttle/speed for the best break-in. As we increased the ride time, same stalling happened.
I was running roughly 100:1 oil in the gas tank, as well as the stock oil injector, to ensure adequate lube. Changed the plug twice - very black. Even after changing the plug, still wouldn't start when hot.
Please advise - I spent too much on this new, plus the upgrades, and now it's unreliable.
Thanks in advance.

There's a guy on another site called "Cadiluna" who did simular Pred-50 engine upgrades as you. He upgrade the heck out the engine, then started to encounter massive heat problems. With high heat, the engine cooks. For more details, surf entire post within: - Press Here -
Since the Pred-50 doesn't come with an engine fan, you may want to install one from the Pred-90 or from a different mini. I wonder if the electric fan from a DS-90 will also work? Forcing air around its engine head via shroud will dramatically lower its engine temp.
Hope this idea from Cadiluna helps...
