Redcat KMZ-150, but the same Engine and Transmission are on the Redcat FX-150, Redcat KMX-150, Kazuma Dingo 150, Kazuma Lacosta 150, and Kazuma Falcon 150.

the gear inside the tranny is probably chewed up. I have am a dealer and was sent a notice on this problem. You will have to contact the place of purchase to get the replacement part. May not be an easy fix.
let me know.

I have a fx-150. The problem they are having with the transmission does not sound like the same problem you are having. You should be able to adjust the linkage. Yours is stuck in the lock position/ between foreward and reverse. Try rocking the handlebars back and forth while it is running. also try reving the engine.. then try to move the lever. I hope this helps.. of the tranny problems redcat is having, it makes the trans stick in the foreward OR the reverse position not neutral.

Hope this helps,
Ken

On these 150's, it's common knowledge that if you are not completely stopped when you shift, you will break things. It would be helpful to know if this bike was riden by adults that knew how to shift and did it right, or kids that may or may not have shifted carefully.

I am careful and haven't had a problem with my Dingo, yet. (had it about 5 months)

They did admit that the old gears were not strong enough. Newer gears are out, and are supposed to fix the problem.
