I'm not too sure of the wattage output of the Pred-50 unit. Some folks are playing with LED technology. Others are looking at the 12V MR16-10W bulb technology. On another forum, some are modifying the factory fake lights and installing the lights behind the factory eye *****. Some are installing a single light on the hood and others are installing dual lights on the front shock upper mount extra holes. What ever works best for you.

Regardless how you mount your lights, I would recommend a 12V rated switch to turn your lights off and on. If your battery goes low, your young rider can turn off the front light, and let the battery recharge. Try to use a 12V rated switch that your young rider can easily us and easily tell if the switch is on or off. Some use a rocker type switch and others use toggle switch. For a picture of a toggle switch, - Press Here -
If you are taping into an ignition wire and that wire is "thin" compared to the wiring on your lights, also install a relay. For a picture on how to install a relay, see "Method B" within - Press Here - If using a relay, its finished product might look like - Press Here -
Hope this helps....
