Hi all,

One of my buddies has a 'coot' ... it's a 4wd, also floats... actually a great machine for packing into camp... powered by a briggs motor.. anyone have any idea where to get a belt for it? It has a variable pulley clutch setup similar to a snowmobile. Any help/advice would be welcomed.

It most likely has a Comet torque convertor that uses belt drive. Goto www.hoffcocomet.com and see if you can identify the model TC on the Coot. If the engine is 8hp or less it is like a model 20 or 30. The exisiting belt should have a number on it identifying the replacement part number. You can get belts online from www.apskarting.com or www.cvmkarts.com.

thanks for the links! I'm going to start checking into it right now.... I'm trying to get this 'thing' working again for a friend.

Again, thanks for your help!
