Ok, I need help. We bought our son an 80 raptor. It had no lights. We added some lights but it runs the battery down. Any advise is really appreciated.

 

Yep.. the lights you are using are too big... they need to be below 35 watts total. Also, the Raptor 80 has a split charging system... and only half of it is being used on a stock machine. That leaves you with the other side to work with. You can check with Ricky Stator to find out the particulars on how to wire up the stator so you do not drain the battery.

Check out raptor80racing.com for hop up parts, wheel extenders (Highly recommended) and Halogen light kits... Go all the way to the bottom on their product page for details. They also have links to LED light kits near the middle.... keep going on to the bottom... You will be glad you did.
