For a 14 yr old i think the Raptor 80 is way underpowerred if she knows how to use clutch look into the Blaster, or even warrior/Rap350, but if shes just starting you should also look into the 250ex or z250

There are a lot of 150's ( the right size for you 14 yr old dau ) out there. Do an internet search for them and you'll find some. If I were you, I'd buy an auto transmission with reverse that is a 4 stroke. I don't know what kind of riding you expect to do, but that would generally suit her needs for most conditions. I would take her around and have her sit on some of these machines to see how they fit her body build. That may give you some direction there. Then she's a part of the whole deal.

Check out something like this that Kymco makes. A machine like this will be my next upgrade in a yr or so.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Thanks for all your input everybody. Sounds like I would have made a big mistake with the 80.
It's nice to actually get honest opinions for a change. Thanks again!
