Lets settle this dispute! The topic says 4 y/o. Somewhere along the line a 1 y/o got thrown in the mix. There is not one 1 y/o on this planet that can properly operate a motorized vehicle! There are some 4 y/o's that can, and probably some 3 y/o's that can. Just depends on how they were raised and what kind of learning capacity they have.

So are we talking about a 1 y/o or a 4 y/o??

 

It was this quote that got me on my soapbox. And I think we about beat that horse to death 2 or 3 times.

Back to the original question, I have no problem with anybody teaching a 4 year old to ride.

How do you know the kid was in diapers.? i know plenty of kids that is potty trained before 18 months. If ya baby them and baby them all ya get is a baby. Don't automatically assume everyone is an irrisponsible parent because they allow their kids lattitude. people will always think their right. but when it comes to kids its all how you raise them. Some kids cry like the its the end of the world when they fall and scrap their knee. other kids just get up as though nothin happend. how kids turn out is all how you raise them. if you think someone else is not doin right by their kids. prove em wrong with your own.

 

Most kids are over 2 ofc. I've never seen one fully trained at 18 months and I've been around a bunch of rugrats. Lot aren't fully trained at 3 years.

kids learn fast man. most people just assume they cant learn when they little. if you spend the time and decide you want them potty trained they can be potty trained. My buddys daughter could intelligently communicate with sign language long before you could understand what she was tryin to say with her mouth. Just an example of potty training. My Ex GFs Daughter. fully potty trained at 14 months no accidents since. What you got now [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] allotta things are possible. no one knows everything.

Girls are easier to train. Mine was trained under two. My boy was walking by 10 months and talking by 12 months. What's the point ofc?
