20mm carb jetting?
#1
I just ordered a "20mm Keihin carb kit" and a "Power Up Kit C" from Hetrick. I need some help on jetting and getting the correct clutch setup. I also ordered the performance CDI.
I not much of a wrench so some friends I have with a bike shop will be doing the work. The guys specialize in sportbikes so their not that familiar with 2-stroke jetting. I trust them but they are a little hesitant to do the jetting because their afraid they'll lean it out to much and cook the engine.
I would really appreciate it somecould help me out or point me to a site that can help.
How do I post links on here?

TeamSims is right. Call Michelle riches wife and tell her what your building the carb kit comes with 5 jets. The Power up kit comes with 3 different color clutch springs. I told them what I was building and what we were racing and they hit everything right on the head. That is the best thing about Hetrick Racing is their support help. They have tested everything and know all the combinations. They are glad to help you. Your kid will love you even more when you fire that fire breathing dragon up for the first time. Michael about flipped out when we first fired the beast up!

I dont know what you are building but to answer your question though the 50s usually run a 90 to 95 mainjet and the 90s run a 100 to 110. We run a 108 main on our ported, piped scrambler 90. Without a pipe the 90s use around a 98 to102. Talk to Rich he'll know pretty close to right on.
