Default 2004 Suzuki LT50 Oil change

I drained the oil but was surprised the oil in the resevoir tank under the seat didn't drain out. Am I missing something? I want to use a different oil and want to flush the stock oil out. Can I tip it over and drain the tank and then re-fill?
Thanks.

hi..the oil you drained is purely the gearbox oil..refill with a good lightweight oil..the remote bottle is your 2 stroke oil that mixes with the fuel /air mix at the carbarretta..no need to change it as it will be used in around 10 tanks of gas...keep it toppt up with a good 2 stroke oil designed for injected motors...to drain it take the rubber hose of the input to your oil pump and let it drain...remember to bleed out any air once you refill though.

Take off the right side plastic foot rest. You will see a hex bolt on the side cover. Just below the fill bolt, is stamped 500cc. 10w40 motor oil should do it.
