Hi, I bought my first ATV for my daughter's birthday, a Sundiro 50CC ATV, it starts good and idles for about a minute but as soon as you give it gas it dies. It's a 2000 with low miles and looks in good shape. I drain the gas and put in new, cleaned the carb, it looked very clean, changed the plug. Any help before Sunday would be great.

 

Does it have a choke on it? If the choke is closed there wont be any oxygen getting to the carb which will kill it. Start it with the choke closed and open it after a few second, the engine should "roar" to life. Or just start it with the choke open.

 

It doesn't have a choke switch or lever. I am a newbe. Thanks for any help. Tom

 

2stroke...check reeds and make sure carb is clean
