VIPER 90R Four Stroke (RX4-90R)

This has to the funniest yet dumbest post I have read here yet. The e-ton is no where close to the cheap sun-L china look alike. We know that China already copys the Yamaha Raptor, ever think they didn't copy the Taiwan high quality products too? Just some food for thought!!
The cost is a lot higher because, only 1 company makes the e-ton and they hold a high quality standard. The look alike model is made by 50 different companies who have competetion amongs each other buy cost. They are forced to cut corners and compete by making a lesser quality machine. I have seen and ridden both types of machines.
A good quad can be bought for a cheap price. Just because you pay $5,000 for a new super 4 machine doesn't make it the best. Nor does buying 1 for $700 make it junk. One is designed for performance, while the other is designed to be affordable for parents who wanted to buy there youth a quad that couldn't afford the big 4. I wish they had the low cost machines when I was a kid.. I wouldn't bitch about it either..

Ok, I admit I'm not that familiar with the Etons or their outstanding quality, but just the fact that it comes from a country right next to China with similar materials and labor costs, it's hard to see how it could be worth 3 times the money. Maybe they spend more on design and R&D, fine, but if you're going to spend 2200 why not get a Honda or Yamaha or one of the other big names.
As I said I've very familiar with the Chinese quality and while not perfect, and not as good as the Japanese companies, it's still pretty good. Kindof like comparing GM to Toyota.

No big deal about the miss-conception between the two. Actually, last time I checked, Japan was closer to China then Taiwan is.. Not to mention that Taiwan's cost of living is higher than where I live in Japan..

Wow, lots of crazy statements being made here.
Japan closer to China than Taiwan? No. I suggest you download Google Earth, it's free, install it, run it, type in China, then search, you will fly over to China, very cool!, then check "show borders" at the bottom. You'll get the needed geography lesson.
Taiwan's cost of living higher than Japan's? Sounds like Eton needs to outsource a few miles over the water to China's mainland. I find that very hard to believe.

Ok, you might be right, I need to stop looking at the weather maps, for the show Asia different then it's actually is.
This is getting rediculous, my simple points were that the Taiwan based companies hold higher standards than the typical China produced ATV's. The reason for this is that Taiwan companies stand behind a product and invest in higher quality parts than the typical China made copies who sell them the 100,000's. That's why there are so many problems with the cheapo Kazuma/ Yamato copy cat quads.

It looks pretty similiar to the older bikes with the exception of the engine.4 stroke is 4.8hp compared to 7 for the two stroker...Not too sure about the transmission setup,it appears to have the same cover on left and right sides in the pictures???Perhaps its a screwup or maybe they have made them a little more water tight??
