That would be a negative on the head doing the same thing.. it's milled down to bump up compression.

From what I've heard/read, the head in the CT package is nothing more a new stock head that's been milled to raise compression. Like Medicaallen said, using a spacer uner the jug would wipe out any gain from a modified head. And yes, porting and other head work will give increases, but will also sacrifice reliability not to mention cost more than what the gains are worth IMO. As I said before, I'm not looking to build a racer, just get a bit more out of it for our weekend rides.

The spacer goes under the cylinder I would imagine....That would explain the opening of the port explanation....and this wouldn't effect the compression.....

CT Racing does some work to the head...more than just milling to bump compression....

The kit works great and is a "proven" add on and is "easily" bolted on.......No need to guess or mix and match.....Go to premix (castor 927 at 32:1), remove both of the restrictors and add the CT kit and this bike will run just fine for a smaller 50cc....but it will also be illegal for any National Events and some tracks may make it run with the 90s if they don't have a 50 mod class....

CT is also working on a clutch kit for the LT50/KFX50, so this should help.....Wiseco has a piton kit too....

but without a CVT tranny and suspension this bike is not your #1 choice for a racer....not for the money, but if size is and issue then it is a solid bike without many problems that I know of.....My next purchase is a DRR DRX50

You also need to get some real tires of this bike....Get the SnowHogs from Recreation Tires with the Douglas Rims ($200 total) ...I got the offset 18" combo for the front and 16" combo for the back and added wheel spacers to the back for more stability....The offset in the front really keeps the bike on all four ...even when turning at higher speeds..

You guys in the States have it all pipes rims etc. why the hell has someone not made this gutless quad go better. I read all about what you guys have to say about it, and it makes me shack my head. It is very simple!!!! You just need to no how a motor works.

You dont have to spend heaps of money on this quad, to get it to go up a hill.

KEEP IT SIMPLE.

What have you guys done to the suspension? I have a set of custom arms being made right now and some special works shocks on the way, this combo should give about 6" travel. Also I dont know how to eliminate the oil injection, does anybody have any sujestions on that?
