LT50 Clutch Problem?
#1
I have an 8 year old LT50 and it will not stand still with the engine running, it always tries to move forward. Even when you pull the brake lever to start it the back wheels try to turn.
Does anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it?

Have you checked the throttle cable? Our Pred 90 did that, we looked at all the complicated options first, then we noticed the throttle cable was pulled out in one spot, once we tucked it back in the quad stopped twitching and trying to take off on it's own.

One more thing, with the engine switched off, if you try to puch the quad the back wheels are locked. You can fortce them to turn but can hear the engine turning over. Any thoughts?

alright, i have an answer for your first problem about your quad moving when your giving it gas. My pred 90 did that and it was idoled to high. Coming out of the throttle box thing on your handle bars, theres a wire with a black cover on it, slip the cover off and with the quad turned on, twist it until it doesnt move and you will be fine, but dont idol it to low because it will shut off automatically when youre not pushing in the throttle, just letting it sit there. So dont have it to high or low.
