Inexpensive but reliable kids ATVs

Check out Raceway atv.com they have kids atv's that are pretty reliable. They also have the 90cc Desert Cat atv which is very reliable. Stay away from wicked rocket, and high rpm racer. Raceway is great to deal with.

Are you looking for short term cheap...or long term cheap?
The cheapest route, is to buy a used honda 90, drive it for 4 years., take care of it....and sell it for what you paid. Total cost is free.

I bought my 9 y.o. daughter a kazuma baby falcon 110 from raceway - three forwards and reverse. I'm very happy with that bike. Also have a look at the redcat v110 from kidatvs.com It has the same engine/transmission as the kazuma plus dual vs single a-arms up front, rear disk vs rear drum and a tail light - also, it looks a little better. It's a $95 more than raceway's kazuma though.
Raceway is a good place to buy. I dont know about kid atvs but the owner is a semi-active poster on this site and a very active poster at atvrider.com . I've read no specific negative posts about kidsatv that I can recall. I would imagine that they are good to deal with and seem to be in the business for the long haul. I've read many negative posts about wicked rocket, high rpm racer and many others.

Bunk...you buy a Honda, we all know you're getting the cream of the crop. It is obvious this guy doesn't want to pay those prices, or he doens't have the resources. Going into some intellectual rhetoric is bunk. Keep your BS elsewhere. Sir, the Kazuma and Redcat 110cc w/ 3speed and reverse give you a good quad at a great price. It is not Honda, but will cost you 40% of a Honda and give you good years.

G3ordy, I really think you need to give us a little more information to give you good advice. How big/old is the child and what type of terrain? The funny thing about features is what is a necessity for me may be completely irrelevant for you. You'll have to decide if things like reverse, automatic tranny, headlights and foot brakes are in the best interest of your child. Other items to consider are modifications and parts. And don't think mods are just for racers. These machines are all pretty gutless in stock form. But I think we can all agree certain items are better than other when comparison shopping such as full floor boards and hydraulic disc brakes.
There are a LOT of options out there.

Just curious....are you affiliated with Raceway in any way or just pleased with their service? I think I am going to end up purchasing from them but still have a few questions left to answer. Now I'm being told that the 50 is not a good way to go for my youngest....that it is going to be too small.

Me? I'm not affiliated with anybody. Just a dad.
A lot of people told me I was crazy putting a 6 year old on a 100. And then some really blew a gasket when I started modifying the machine. But these people have no experience riding in sand. I say this because diferent people and different terrains have diferent requirements. My machine needed extra power for sand but was more than enough for her on hard pack.
That's why I try to ask. I was there once and hope my experiences can help somebody.
