Default Please help!!!!!!!!

I am trying to fix my sons desert cat 90. The throttle return spring is sprung and I can't figure out for the life of me how to get it compressed again. Please help!!!! We are going camping this weekend and need to gt it fixed before the weekend. Is there a trick to this???

Thanks!

Here's a thought but never tryed it.How about fishing line?compress spring as much as possible and run two separate fishing lines through spring, using needle nose pliers make slip knots in lines(end of spring, not on side which would cause it to bow)and pull until fully compressed and either tie or hold until you get spring reset than cut lines and remove.good luck!!
