We have a 85 suzuki thats been running fine for years and all of a sudden it wouldnt even pull my 5 year old. It will start right up and idle with no problem at all. I put a brand new Carb on it about 2 months ago only becuase the bowl cracked. It used to pull me around the streets at a pretty good speed no I might get a foot down the driveway. It acks like there is a rev limiter on the bike but for what I have seen I can find one.

i guess i would start with a new plug.

 

I just found out what was going on. I took the head and cylinder off and found out that the exhuast port was clogged up. After I chipped the carbon build up off it was faster than ever.
