Default need jetting advise

don't know if ya been following my Kazuma 90 upgrades or not...

K&N Filter mod and Big Gun exhaust.

I started with a main of 84. Got some jet between 90-108.. I had to end up drilling the 108 over a bit to get the plug just right... I have played with the needle.
My problem occurs from idle if the throttle is hammered wide open, it wants to stall. If the throttle is feathered from idle to mid then wide open it's fine, but not acceptable.

During the 1st heat he must have feathered it alittle cause he got the holeshot against the TRX90's (quads in a faster class).
The 3 faster quads passed him, but he held 1st up til the last turn for his class.. During heat2 of my boys race Saturday he stalled on the line causing him the holeshot and about 50 yards playing catch-up..

My question is what jetting circuit would be causing this?

It would be the low speed/pilot setting Try turning your fuel screw on the carb out slightly to richen it up a little. That and gapping you'r plug a little closer should cure it. Gap plug to about .017-.020. You may need a richer pilot jet to cure it. If it has say a 30 get a 40 and try it out(2 steps up on the pilot). Hope I helped.

I will most definately try the air mixture screw some more, and didn't even think about the gap.. I was looing at the piolt during one of my carb tear down (there was many involved) and I didn't see a number stamped on it, but I look again if the other tweaking doesn't cure it...

thanks,
Chad

p.s
I am having so much fun modding my boy's ride, that I am looking for a rolling chassis of the '06 90 falcon. I am gonna put a 125cc shifter motor in it.. After that I am gonna either find someone to make me some longer A-arms or I am gonna fabricate them myself.. I am gonna use the new conversion quad as testing for suspension upgrades. I figure iF the upgrades will take my abuse with the 12hp 125cc in it and my 130# that it will be worthy enough for my boy!
just an added note the Kazuma come with around 4 hp, I am geussing that with the pipe and filter I may have 8% more on my boys ride, with the bigger sprocket up front it's starting to fly!

stay tuned for the MONSTER MINI!!!

later,
Chad
