Default Advise on shocks....

I looked at the Predator 90 today and its suspension was far more soft than that of my kids
Unison Desert Cat 90. Any advise one which shock I should be looking at to replace the stock
one on the DC90 so my kid can have a softer tail?

I assume that Elkas would be the choice, but I'm not so much up on what to look for in a replacement
shock. I probably should replace the front shocks as well...right?

Isn't the Unison desert cat almost an exact copy of the Predator?..If the rear shock is the same length I would just use the predator shock and spring for a cheap upgrade.Same for the fronts...The Elka's are great but are big money. The Works shocks are also much better than stock but still pretty expensive.Make sure the shocks are the exact same length as your stock units or they will cause problems.I just installed some Works units on our Viper that were a little longer and now the atv has too much positive camber on the front and slack chain issues that I have to correct. The suspension is much softer than stock though and it will be worth it in the long run.

I'll have to do some measurements, but they did look ALOT alike under the plastics.

Thanks for pointing out one possibly obvious route to me. LOL!
