Hello, I just bought a Giovanni 50cc quad for my son. I put it together and it started right up. There was no gel pack in the carb and I flushed out the gas tank. I also replaced the spark plug. If you give it full throttle off the line it will bog out until you cut the throttle back to half and let it pick up some rpms. Then you can give it full throttle and it will rev out fully. Is this normal? Thanks for the replys

 

Sounds like the needle clip in the carb needs to be changed to a different position.
