LT80 : remove clutch rollers

Default LT80 : remove clutch rollers

I have been reading much about some simple mod I can make to my LT80. Does anyone know how to remove the clutch rollers? Any pics or diagrams?

I am new to this so I guess I need the elementry version to better understand. I haven't removed the cover yet.

Default LT80 : remove clutch rollers

Loosen the foot pegs, remove all the bolts holding the case on. You might need to apply a little pressure once you do remove all the screws from the cover. See the diagram in the links below for the internals of the tranny. I have this procedure down to a science. I can take the clutch apart / service and assemble in 15-20 min. If you’re going to be doing this a lot, I would cut the foot pegs in half and make a connector or talk to LT80 aka Jack Moore about his foot pegs inserts. I also, bought stainless hex bolts for the case, this way I can use my drill and remove the screws in a matter of 1 min. Let me know if you have more questions.
