Sunl Sla-120
Hello.....I have been reading a lot about the different Sunl atv's and I am aware of some of their problems. I was just curious if anyone has/had this specific model SLA-120 and if there are any know problems or things to look for. We are thinking about purchasing a couple of these for our son's ages 12 and 10. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Why stay away from all SUNL's? We live near a dealership that sells these and can get them for a very good price. I have looked at them very closely and they look very solid. I really was just wanting to get some input on this specific model as it fits the boys well, and it is in the price range that we can afford. Any additional input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all...

I have two sunl's 70cc model, they are fine for the money, I just found a local dealer that sells a model similar to sunl and he HAS PARTS! and guess what, the parts are reasonable! anyway everyone has an opinion, I do suggest reinforcing the frame, but all quads have problems, as long as you can get parts that is the big problem alot of people have.

Thanks for the input....The dealership that is close to us does have parts available, so that doesn't seem like a problem at this point. We are looking at spending around $750.00 each for these, that is assembled. Once, we get the units I will be disassembling them and putting loctite on all of the bolts and double checking everything. These have the 110cc honda clone engine?? and are semi automatic with a 3 spd and reverse. We own approx. 25 arces of mostly wood covered land. These would be used here on our land on a few trails we have and will be making. We have currently purchased a 110cc Sunl mini utility, which seems to be a very nice unit for the price and size, this one is for our 7 year old son. We have one of the SLA-120's on order, we wanted a specific color, and it should be in within a week. We are trying to surpise them for Christmas, but it is kind of hard to hide a few atv's. Thanks to everyone who has had some input, if anyone does have this model (SLA-120) or something similar we would really appreciate any input on these. Thanks...

dont you people read the forums??? my 250, nothing special,no power. slow, the redcat 150 smokes it, my 250 doesnt get beat i just put around on it.
heres my expierencene with my chinease quads
kazuma 110, my 11 year old pounds this thing, not one problem 6 months, grade A
red cat 150 no jumping driven hard only problem chain stretch, need better chain. grade A
kazuma 250 lots problems when i got it its all fixed dont beat it its a total dog! grade D
i guess if i was going to buy a chinease quad again it would be jetmoto or a redcat, read the forums sunl sucks.
if your a adult buy a big 4 used theres deals to be found you just have to look, last weekend i picked up a 96 polaris sportsman 400 for 2 grand, thats 200 bucks more than the kazuma 250 it has a new piston not even broken it yet runs great and in good shape, oh 4 wheel drive works.
i think chinease quads are good for little kids, but if adults pound them they dont last long.
