honda clones
On these "Honda clone" engines, I would have to question the quality of the internal parts as well. Just because a company copies an already existing engine design does not mean the the quality of material will go into the forging or casting of parts for that engine. Tranny gears may not be hardened the right way...etc....
Yamaha has 650 bikes out with improperly "cut" tranny gears and thus they whine so even major builders that have been in the business for years have problems. So I would question the quality of a Chinese built engine for now until they have been in the market for a long time and have ironed out all the bugs in their machines. I feel they will do this if they seriously want to compete with the Japanese.
