raceway?

Not at all trying to talk bad about raceway because I no nothing about them and I bought my atv from someone that wouldn't care if it blew up tomorrow but still raceways prices seem kind of high to me

Sometimes you have to pay a little extra to get the kind of service and piece of mind that you will receive from a dealer like Raceway. There are many who don't care how much they have to spend as long as their dealer will give them the best customer service around.

The following is something I said in another thread this morning:
"I've seen the question posted: ". . . why buy from raceway if I can find the same/similar bike elsewhere cheaper . . . after all, it's the same bike . . ." etc.
The answer is, because they'll send you the part you need. If you don't know exactly what you need, they'll help you figure it out. They won't try to blame it on the shipping company (or you) and tell you to file a claim with the shipper. They'll remind you that you have a warranty even if you've forgotten it (happened with a cdi for the sunl 70 - about six months after I bought it).
There are probably a few other good companies like this (have read many positive things about kidatvs.com at atvriders.com) but there are many whose service after the sale is nonexistent."
But, if you've someone nearby with parts etc. that is trustworthy and cheaper, by all means, use them. Also, it never hurts to ask: "Is that your best price?"

like I said not at all dissing raceway and service is great but I know someone who went in with 15 other people and bought there atv's for 350 dollars per. Just seems to me they could make 100 per unit even 200 if they cared so much rather than 400 or 500 per unit. Once again not dissing them or even talking about their service just the price

I know what your saying . . . Had my daughter not liked the looks of the jetmoto 150 over the new redcat mpx 150 so much (I don't), I would have bought the redcat (not carried by raceway). atvpartsusa.com is a good site for the do-it-yourselfer (have bought parts there before and they're relatively affordable).
Still, for an actual warranty and not just one in name only, raceway (or similar) is the way to go. A fair percentage of the chinese bikes are going to need some form of service after the sale. I've bought four and two needed something replaced before use. A lot of people cant handle this on there own. Raceway is a godsend for those and added peace of mind even for those who are more handy with a wrench.

trailridercamden,
Your question is valid and I never thought you were dissing anyone. It really is not a question any one could answer other than the dealer themselves. There are so many variables that go into making sales. Your original post mentioned nothing about the 15 people buying 15 quads, that changes everything. Now I bet if the same 15 people would have approached Raceway with 15 quads to purchase from them, Raceway may have worked out some sort of deal. You never know until you ask.
Now there are times when a dealer does not have to make those kinds of deals because they are the ones that already have mid range pricing, they are not too high yet not too low and will probably be in business for many many years.
Again, I know this doesn't answer your question, unfortunately your question is really one only for the dealer.

Regardless of what I think of the priceing I do believe places like raceway will help the chinese atvs become just as common as a honda this is off the subject but one very important factor in selling a product is the name and when one of these atvs gets a name that sticks things will really change I personally liked the redcat name I know it is basiclly the same as everything else better than some worse than some but the name made me feel good.

Just to try and answer your question our prices maybe a little higher then others for many reasons as some have posted already. We factor in that you may need some parts along the way, you may need some phone support and our quick shipping on parts or products. Also keep in mind most dealer (If they warranty anything at all) will only give you a 30 to 90 day warranty, we offer free 6 month warranty, with free shipping of any warranty part. Again most people do not support the warranty and if they do its on the motor & trans only. We warranty anything that is a manufacture defect at all in a 6 month period.
If you were to read most of the threads you would see that the motors and trans on these products are very good. So to just warranty a motor for 90 days would not be that hard. Also keep in mind that we do drop ship some products but we also keep a lot of units and parts in stock. It is much cheaper for a company to just drop ship every product have no parts and give just about no warranty, no phone support ect....
Also keep in mind that even that some of the units bodies might look them same they are not from the same manufacture. Yes, the Jetmoto and Kazuma's are but our smaller units do not come from the same manufactures as most of these others buy from. We try to buy the best products out there and believe me I see the difference.
When customers call us to buy more then one unit we always discount the price but again we must always keep in mind that if there is ever a problem we must handle it properly and in a reasonable amount of time.
All in a nut shell I look at it like this, most of these guys out there have changed the name of there companies 2 to 3 times already. They have been screwing customers for 3 to 4 years now they just dont know what else to do so they keep lowering there price. We are not greedy people we don't need to have every customer but you can be 100% sure the ones we get never go any place else!
Sometimes indeed you do get what you pay for. I have been selling fenders to ATV's to people for the past 3 weeks that received there products with shipping damage. When they added up the price for the fenders, time and frustration because the other companies will not even pick up the phone they all say the same thing "I should have bought the bike from Raceway"
5 years of very very hard work and a few gray hairs.... if you want the service I provide you will have to pay a little more for it! It is 2:35 A.M Est right now. I wonder if any of the $400.00 sellers are out there right now looking to see if they could help out someone having a problem with there ATV?????????
P.S Thanks to all you guys/gals out there in the forum!!! I know I always say it but you guys and gals out there always posting for us and supporting us REALLY make us who we are! I hope one day I can repay you all for the support! One day if I hit the lotto I will come look for ya!

trailridercamden,
i wasn't a big raceway fan until i read posts about their great customer service so last christmas i purchased a sunl 90 for one of our grandkids, in april ( 4 months later) after about 20-25 use the frame broke, we called raceway, all raceway said is to put the broken atv on a pallet and they're pick it up and once they received it they're shipped us a new one, well once they received it, took about 7-8 days, raceway called and wanted to know what we wanted to do, refund, exchanged , or what , at that time i decided to replace it with the mini 100 they sell, 3 days later i receiced the new atv, i only paid the differant beteen the cost of the quads, raceway paid for shipping on both quads and paid for pick -up. i don't know of any other dealer, honda, yamaha, suzuki or any other chainese atv dealer that would have replaced the atv after 4 months of use period. i'm a big raceway fan now and if i were to buy another chainese atv, i wouldn't buy from anybody else. also they were smart enought to quit selling sunl crap.

Sir,
On a local level, you may have a dealer that does everything...keep them if they earned their reputation. On a NATIONAL level...meaning what ever State you reside in, RACEWAY can't be beat as of now. You have many cranky people on this forum that will throw the BS flag quickly because we see these "fly-by-night" dealers come and go....go leaving the consumer w/o there wallet and warranties. RACEWAY has stood the test of time so far. I didn't buy mine from them, I bought it of almostfreeatvs, but it was RACEWAY that helped me out. They help eventhough they knew I blew it.
I'll leave you with this thought to sum what everyone is trying to say w/ several sentences:
Results talk, B___S____ walks!
Now lets see how Raceway handles the peak season with service...if not, we'll be all over them Good luck.
